AK Senator Sullivan Objects to Critical Habitat Designation for Humpback Whales
In a February 6, 2020 letter to Dr Neil Jacobs, NOAA’s Acting Assistant Secretary for Oceans and Atmosphere, Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan called NOAA’s critical habitat area “overly expansive” and the proposal “poorly supported due to a lack of data.”
