Japan’s 2019 Surimi Products Production Lowest in 50 Years
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries announced on September 11 the production volume of surimi products in 2019. According to the report, total surimi products production was 499,920 tons, decreased 2% from the previous year, or 9,649 tons, explained Kamaboko News.
Of the total above, fish ham and sausage production were 59,825 tons, decreased 1%, or 884 tons from the previous year.
